Building Bridges through Cultural Celebration
A myriad of monuments; a display of diversity; a celebration of a rich cultural heritage of a great people with a great nation typified the Cultural Day celebration at our Kaduna Primary school on May 20th, 2017.
The event which was marked by our nursery pupils with great zeal and enthusiasm was well attended by parents, relatives and friends who expressed their appreciation for the program and also gave talks about the historical background and the origin of Nigeria’s three major ethnic groups.
Our pupils held the audience spell bound as they paraded the Nigerian rich cultural heritage in dances, songs, greetings culinary of the different ethnic groups. Our youngsters were gorgeously dressed in the traditional attire of the ethnic group they represented (Hausa/Fulani, Igbo and Yoruba) and displayed wonderful performances that impressed all that were in attendant.
To cap the event, the audience was treated with mouth watery gastronomies from various ethnic groups in Nigeria provided by the parents of our pupils.
