19th Annual National Mathematics Competition

                      for Primary 5&6 Pupils and JSS-3 Students (New)

NIGERIAN TULIP INT’L COLLEGES has taken an initiative to start the National Mathematics Competition of “Junior Edition” for JSS-3 students along with Primary 5&6 pupils in the 19th edition of ANMC across Nigeria. Please read the guidebook carefully and follow the rules and regulations of the Mathematics Competition for JSS-3 students along with Primary 5&6 pupils.

We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming traditional feast of mathematics for pupils, teachers and parents. It is the 19th edition of Annual National Mathematics Competition for Primary 5&6 pupils and JSS-3 Students organized by two of the leading institutions of Nigeria in the area of education: Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) and National Mathematical Center (NMC).

NTIC and NMC are putting a great effort to seed the love of mathematics in pupils’ hearts. However, they are not the only ones who have branded this excellent product; we owe thousands of pupils, teachers and parents all around Nigeria who are contributing to this festival with their efforts and enthusiasm. We kindly applaud every individual who adopts and supports this competition. Thank you, Nigeria!

Format of the competition for primary 5&6 pupils:

It is worth reminding you that this competition is only for primary 5&6 pupils from public or private primary schools, all around Nigeria.

Age limit is 12 years old.

All pupils are to sit for the exam in states where their schools are registered.

Type and number of questions: Both stages of this competition are objective type examination involving 75 questions distributed as follows: 35 algebra, 15 geometry and 25 aptitude. The questions are prepared according to Nigerian Primary school syllabus but in a harder level.

Duration of the examination: A total of 120 minutes is allotted to answer all the questions.

Dates and venues for the stages and award-giving ceremony:

          19th ANMC   1st Round: 5th February 2022,                                 in every state of Nigeria

          19th ANMC   2nd Round: 5-6-7th April, 2022                                NTIC Abuja and Kano

          19th ANMC   Award Giving Ceremony: 7th April, 2022               NTIC Abuja and Kano

 

Format of the competition for JSS-3 students:

It is worth reminding you that this competition is only for JSS-3 pupils from public or private schools all around Nigeria.

The age limit is between 13 – 15 years old.

Only JSS-3 students are allowed to sit for this exam.

All students are to sit for the exam in states where their schools are registered.

Type and number of questions: Both stages of this competition are objective type examination involving 75 questions distributed as follows: 35 algebra, 15 geometry and 25 aptitudes. The questions are prepared according to the Nigerian primary school syllabus but in a harder level.
