NTIC Garners 74 Medals at the 1st Round of Nigerian Mathematical & Science Olympiad Competition – 2018/2019

The National Mathematical Centre (NMC) has published the results of the 2018/2019 Nigerian Mathematical and Science Olympiad Competition and 74 of our students won medals and qualified to proceed to the second round.

From Abuja boys, Okezie Chiedozie, Collins Divine and Onyekwulunne Kosi respectively won Gold Medals, emerging overall first positions in the following subject all over FCT - senior Mathematics, Physics and Junior Mathematics. One other student from Abuja Boys won silver medals, 3 won bronze medals while the remaining 5 students were awarded certificates of participation.

From NTIC Yobe, 9 of our students emerged overall first positions in the state in the following subjects; Biology, Chemistry, Junior Informatics, Senior Informatics, Junior Mathematics and Physics.

NTIC Kano had two Gold medalists, emerging overall winners in Kano state in Junior Mathematics and Senior Mathematics.

From NTIC Kaduna, 5 of our students won Gold Medals emerging overall first position in Kaduna state in Junior Science, Junior Mathematics, Informatics (Senior), Informatics (Junior), Biology, Physics.

From NTIC Ogun, we had one Gold Medalist in Junior Mathematics, winning overall first position in the state in the subject area and other silver and bronze medalists.
