NTIC MAKES NIGERIA PROUD AT THE INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICAL CHALLENGE IX AND INTERNATIONAL ROBOTIC II AT THAILAND

 

It was a phenomenal win for our students on the 21st to 22nd of February,2020 in Thailand as eight of our students’ shine at the International Mathematics Challenge and International Robotic in Thailand. The competition was in two stages; First round was individual-based while the second round was team-based. For the first round, our students won 1 silver medal, 2 bronze and 5 honourable mentions. In the second round, the Nigerian team came 3rd and got bronze medals and plaque.

The global competition which is well respected, featured 1346 students from 69 schools, 356 teams and all from 17 different countries.

Our students, Evergreen Ganiru Alex -Nworie from NTIC Ogun boys won a silver medal and proudly lifted the trophies and the flag of Nigeria high, making not just them or NTIC excited but imprinted the name of Nigeria and Africa at large on the global academic hall of fame.

Al- ameen Abdullahi Bawa of NTIC Abuja Coed and Precious Uzoma Adirika of NTIC Abuja Girls won a bronze medal each. While Azdah Aseoluwa Adebanke Ayo-Adeyemi of NTIC Lagos, Abdülmuttalib Mohammed of NTIC Kano, Fuad Olamukulehin Alaba of NTIC Abuja Coed, David Chidubem Ohaegbuchi of NTIC Abuja Coed, and Hafizah Eniola Abdulkareem of NTIC Abuja Girls got honourable mentions.
