NTIC Students Win Gold and Bronze at International Mathematics Challenge VIII, Bangkok Thailand
It was a phenomenal win for our students on the 9th of March 2019 in Thailand as two of our students won the well desired gold medals, 5 others bronze and another 11 received honourable mentions at the just concluded International Mathematics Challenge VIII that held in Pan Asia International School, Bangkok.
The global competition which is well respected featured students from 20 different countries including s Bolivia, Canada, Russia, Egypt, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Lao, Cambodia, Tajikistan, Thailand and others making up 60 schools, 250 teams and 800 students.
Our students, Alege Philip Temiloluwa from NTIC Kaduna Boys and Alex-Nworie King Godson Chimeremeze of NTIC Ogun Boys won gold and proudly lifted the trophies and the flag of Nigeria high, making not just them or NTIC excited but imprinted the name of Nigeria and Africa at large on in gold on global academic hall of fame.
Omabuike Michael Chika and Awonuga Abdul-Azeez Adewale, both of NTIC Abuja Primary, Garba Mansur Adinoyi of Abuja Coed, Abubakar Zayd Oshone of Kaduna Boys and Adesoye Tijesuni Alfred of NTIC Coed won bronze medals while 11 from our various schools received honourable mentions.
