Guidance and Counseling

Majority of reputable secondary education establishments have high school career counselors as a part of their structure. We as a career counselling department, put all our abilities to be of use to our students.

In NTIC, character development is an integral point for the students in both within and outside of the school, even after completion of their studies in our institutions. Our trained and dedicated teaching staff is keenly interested in the welfare of the students.
The class teachers have weekly hostel meetings, where the students learn how to be better individuals and improve their behaviour within a scheme of work of moral education in line with planned behaviour sets. There are behavioural goals and levels that students are supposed to achieve implementing in their daily lives for each class sets. Students stay in fixed levels of expected behaviour and they do not move to an upper level until they  indivdually demonstrate all anticipated behaviours. Thus, moulding the behaviour and characters of the students are painstakingly carried out to ensure that we have more reasons to hope for a brighter future.
With the help of personality and career tests and correct guidance, students are assisted to choose their future university courses. With a wide range of club activities, students are encouraged to explore and develop their talents. NTIC holds annual sports tournaments among her branches across Nigeria to contribute to peace and unity of the nation.
