The Nigerian curriculum provides opportunities for students to study different subjects, ranging from junior to senior secondary schools.
Basically, at junior and senior levels, the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) is charged with the responsibility to develop the curriculum.
At NTIC, students in the final class of junior secondary school (JSS3) write the mandatory exam set by Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE)/ Education Resource Centre (ERC). Likewise, at the end of senior secondary school, attention is given to external exams conducted by accredited bodies such as National Examination Council (NECO), West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The school also emphasizes extracurricular activities in sports, music, Arts and Culture, Volunteer work and Community Service.
